Does your aging barrel leak? Mine did...A LOT! I’ll show you how I fixed it using spiles (spikes of wood), and how you can apply the same simple technique to fix ANY size of aging barrel. All you need is a hammer and small nail, some toothpicks, knife, sandpaper, and barrel wax. If you have a larger barrel, like a 5, 10, or 20 gallon version you'll probably need to use a large nail or punch, and spiles carved from thin dowel rod. The process is the same.
